2012

  • Avery Zweig played in her first competitive round of golf on 6/19/12. She shot 29 over par 65 at Brookhaven CC.
  • Avery played in 10 competitive rounds in 2012, all on the US Kids tour.
  • 9/23/2012 Avery won her first golf tournament firing a smooth 60 and winning in a playoff. Yes, a playoff at 24 over par!
  • Broke 50 for the first time on 12/2/12 with a 8 over par 44 at Westridge.
  • Won one tournament out of 10 tournaments entered in 2012

2013

  • First round under par, 6/24/13 with a -1 under par 35 at Brookhaven Country Club (US Kids)
  • Won USKids Texas State Championship with 37/33 with a 2 day total of -2 under par 70.
  • At 6 years old, Avery played in the 7u US Kids World Championship and placed 11th with 43/43/37. She had 4 birdies on the last day which was the most birdies for any player in the 7u flight in one round.
  • At 6 years old, she won the NTPGA 7-8 year old Metro Summer Championship.
  • At 6 years old she won the NTPGA 7-8 year old Tour Championship with kids from all over the State.
  • In the fall, she “played up” in the 9-10 year old flight of NTPGA and won the almost all tournaments and won the point total (similar to Fed Ex Cup) for the Fall Series.
  • Won 18 times out of 44 starts in 2013

2014

  • 2014 NTPGA 9-10 year old Points winner for the Spring series.
  • 2014 NTPGA 9-10 year old Spring Tour Championship winner. Players from all over the State attended.
  • USKids Spring 7u Points Tour Champion for most points.
  • Southwest Junior Tour 2 time winner at The Tribute 5/24-5/25 and winner at TPC Craig Ranch 6/23-6/24
  • Shot NTPGA scoring record for 9 holes, -8 under par 28 at Bear Creek on 7/2/14. Albatross, 6 birdies, par and a bogey.
  • City of Dallas Champion for 2014.
  • Placed 5th in the World at Taylor Made Junior Masters 8-9 year old division (as a 7 year old) with scores of 38/36/37 on July 22-24.
  • Finished 2014 ranked 2nd in the World based on finish at US Kids World Championships from July 31- Aug 2nd shot 38/38/31. The final round score of 31 missed tying Alexa Pano’s course record of 30 by one shot.
  • 2014 NTPGA Metro Area Summer series championship winner ages 9-10. 8/11/14 shot even par 34 with 4 birdies a triple bogey and a bogey.
  • US Kids Summer Series points winner for the Summer tour.
  • US Kids female scoring record shooting -7 under par 29 at Cedar Crest on 8/10/14.
  • (3 days later, broke her own scoring record) US Kids female scoring record shooting -8 under par 28 at The Tribute on 8/13/14 she carded 2 eagles and 4 birdies.
  • 2014 NTPGA Tour Championship winner ages 9-10 with 37/37 2 over par from 2000 yards per day on 8/18-8/19.
  • 2014 NTPGA Summer Series points winner for ages 9-10.
  • US Kids Seaview Open Major Championship winner. 34/37 for a -1 under par 2 day total of 71.
  • In 2014 during a stretch of 11 US Kids tournaments, she had an average score of 32.73 (-3.27 under par per round). Over the same 11 rounds she is an aggregate -36 under par!
  • Holds the US Kids Female scoring record for the Dallas tour in a single round. -8 under par 28 at The Tribute on 8/13/14.
  • Holds the NTPGA scoring record (boys and girls for any age) for the lowest score in a single round. -8 under par 28 at Bear Creek on 7/2/14.
  • USKids Fall 7u Points Tour Champion for most points.
  • 2014 NTPGA 9-10 year old Points winner for the Fall series.
  • As of the end of 2014, Avery had played in 123 career tournaments while winning 71 of those starts. 151 career tournament rounds.
  • Avery had 131 birdies, 16 eagles and 1 albatross in 2014
  • In 2014 Avery won 22 straight tournaments (tied for first in one NTPGA tournament) after returning from US Kids Worlds and coming in second. (8/4/14 through 12/7/14)
  • FUN FACT- in her 97 tournament rounds in 2014 she has an aggregate amount of 3584 strokes and 1647 of those have been putts.
  • FUN FACT II- Avery appeared in the “docu-series” The Short Game. The 10 weeks series aired on the Esquire Network in early 2015 and featured some of the best 7 and 8 year old golfers in the world.
  • In 2014, Avery won 52 tournaments out of 69 starts in 2014 (97 total 9 holes rounds including multi-day events).
